From Our Grand Exalted Star of Light and Love
I am so happy to be the Grand Exalted Star of Light and Love for 2007-2008. During my term, I plan on strengthening the number of members in Constellation and our relationship with the other Masonic organizations. I hope to accomplish this by traveling to as much as I can and letting everyone know about our great organization and how much fun we have in Constellation. This year my charity is the Children’s Cancer center. This is a wonderful organization that takes the time to help children get the right treatment and care so they can get better. The children cancer center has saved thousands of lives and I hope that the money I raise this year will help save thousands more. To raise money for this great cause I am selling buttons at each event I go to and planning a Children’s Day at the Times Union Center in Albany. This event will be held on July 18th. We will be holding a children’s day where we will be selling tickets for a football game and will be having games and prizes that will help bring in donations to this worthy cause. So far this year, I have been doing a lot of traveling to the different organizations spreading the word about Constellation and creating wonderful memories. My motto this year is to “Make Every Moment Count” and that’s what I've been doing and I encourage everyone to do the same. We live in a country where you are able to speak your mind so go out and do so. Go out and spread the word on what you believe in and make your moments count because it's those moments that will last forever. And, it’s in those moments that you have the opportunity to really make a difference in not only your life but in others as well. I am so excited for the things that await me for the rest of my term. I hope that I am able to fulfill the expectations and goals that I have set for myself. I am very thankful for all of the support that has been given to Constellation so far and I hope that it continues and grows so that Constellation can keep growing into the future.
